Specifications

Brass reducing bush adapter for converting 1/2" Male NPT threads down to 1/8" Female NPT. Common for stepping down sensor ports, pressure gauge fittings, or temperature sender installations where port size reduction is needed.

  • Material: Brass construction for corrosion resistance
  • Thread: 1/2" Male NPT on one end, 1/8" Female NPT on the other
  • Use PTFE tape on both the male NPT threads and the threads of the fitting being installed into the 1/8" end
  • Suitable for oil pressure, fuel pressure, coolant temp, and air pressure applications
  • Allows installation of 1/8" NPT sensors or gauges into 1/2" NPT ports
  • Torque to manufacturer specs for the smaller 1/8" fitting to avoid over-tightening
